late-night post

Athan is doing well tonight - sugars are steadily up, and the rest of his vitals are great. Ryan headed back to Wilmore to be with Morgan some before he comes back up here tomorrow. I hope he gets some sleep. I'm staying here with Athan. He has his own room here in PICU, so I can sleep in here and not miss a chance for him to breastfeed.

Goodnight, friends and family, and thank you again for praying for us all.

God's strength, I pray for you.
God's peace, through out the day.
God's grace to fully surround you and carry you along the way.

Be well and God bless,
Earl

Hey Guys

We continue to pray and lift Athan and you up to the Lord.

I ran across this poem this morning (I am sure you have probably read it before):

He Giveth More Grace

He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase;
To added affliction He addeth His mercy;
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father's full giving is only begun.

Fear not that thy need shall exceed His provision,
Our God ever yearns His resources to share;
Lean hard on the arm everlasting, availing;
The Father both thee and thy load will upbear.

His love has no limit; His grace has no measure.
His pow'r has no boundary known unto men;
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!

2Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
